EVENT RECAP: Writing Sessions of America 5th Annual Icon Awards

The Icon Awards kicked off the WSA “Unplugged Music Experience Singer and Songwriter conference. It was an exclusive three-day event where music and business influencers come together in a family atmosphere to participate in the true art of collaboration. Through our various workshops, panels, networking events, exhibitions and showcases, attendees get shared their creative work and knowledge. 

UME highlights the importance of music first and business always. Participants left knowing how music translates to business.

Attendees Included: Eddie “F” Ferrell, a Grammy award winner,  uptown/LaFace executive, DJ, and Co-Founder of Heavy D & The Boyz, has worked with us for four years and will serve as a Co-chairperson for the conference. Larrance Dopson, CEO and Co-founder of 1500 or Nothin, and Devine Evans, five-time Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer, will also serve as Co-chairs this year.
