The 49th NAACP Image Awards was broadcasted LIVE from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium from TV ONE on Monday, January 15, 2018, the national holiday honoring the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Anthony Anderson returned as host of the 49th NAACP Image Awards live telecast – the preeminent multicultural awards show.
The NAACP Image Awards celebrates the accomplishments of people of color in the fields of television, music, literature and film and also honors individuals or groups who promote social justice through creative endeavors.
