Some of Harlem’s rising fashion talent showcased their latest creations and designs, a mix of European haute-couture and indigenous African roots. Hosted by fashion coordinator, Daryl H Miles, the event featured collections from designers showing contemporary to avant garde, murses, shoulder bags and African designs made of mud cloth or bogolaCnfini.

Featured designers included: Larry Underwood of Underwood NY, Doc Bongo, Steven Land, Wilbur SK Designs and a tribute to William (Bill) Witherspoon. Designs by Evetta Petty of Harlem’s Heaven Hats was also be featured. Buffet provided by Masons Catering.
